That makes is sound like cancer is one entity. There are many kinds of cancer

and maybe we should talk about it being legion. Some cancers we truly have been able to beat like a boss. At least one form of thyroid cancer has something like a 90-95% survival rate. So to me it isn't a straight "let's beat cancer". We have to break it down to different types and evaluate where we are on the different types.
