None of the 4 recruiting services indicate that Utah ever offered Lake
Rivals, Scout, 247Sports and ESPN.
The Lake situation is similar to RB Marcel Brown, who visited BYU but never got an offer, but is currently committed to Utah.
I know that it was reported that Morgan Scalley met with Lake, but the fact that he is visiting San Diego State and UNLV to me indicates that no offer was extended.
Reid could still choose Utah or BYU, but if I were a betting man, I would bet on Stanford over the local schools.
