The lame ESPN announcers were talking about how BYU had had a big setback earlier in the month when the ACC had announced that "Their teams would no longer play BYU".
Of course that wasn't what the ACC had said at all, but you can't expect a couple of guys who are assigned to broadcast a BYU game to actually, you know, get the facts straight before they run their mouths, right?
My point is that your right, ANY kind of bad statement about scheduling can be spun and misinterpreted in numerous ways and damages the general perception of the program. So any kind of good statement can only help the general perception.
