Unless the NCAA requirement for GPA is above 2.3, I believe the 29 would be enough to significantly alter the GPA requirement. For a scholarship athlete.

BYU = 3.3 and a 19. Utah is a 2.6 with an 18 and USU is 2.5 with a 19
