Mormons and I went to BYU. Even for someone who's been a member almost their whole life there's some freaky people there. I had some roommates that were nuts. Great people but nuts (I call nuts what you call cyborg Mormons). While I choose to live the commandments too, I don't do it like that, not even close.
But guess what there are a lot of people at BYU just like me. All shades of Mormons are represented at BYU. And as long as she's willing to accept people who are different than her she's going to love it. I've never regretted going to BYU instead of going to my State University with all my high school friends.
I'm better for having done that and my cyborg Mormon friends are much better for having become friends with me while I was there too.
