Yep, sounds identical. It got to the point that the teachers and "special ed"
instructors had shattered his confidence. It's fun to see him getting that back and figuring out he's not dumb and can do this. He's very talented and smart, but just can't thrive in a traditional classroom at this point in his life. I'm not anti-public schools, but it's apparent they just don't have the resources and ability to deal with "square pegs." I have gained a fairly low opinion of teachers. I think I can objectively say that maybe 20% are good at what they do, and the rest don't really care too much.
