Thoughts on the coaching opening
BYU needs to find a guy that can recruit really well that players will really like. Someone who will bring in top LDS and non LDS talent who will obey the honor code. Also, he must be able to coach defense really well, but also be able to call half court sets for the offense. He must also be able to work with the bigs and and teach them footwork. Neilson and Austin need to be at the same level as Cauley-Stein and Towns from Kentucky by year end next year. If not, he should be packing his bags. Finally, this new coach needs to be a friend that the players can count on to be there for them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. He needs to give players confidence and get 3-4 to the NBA each year. That is all I ask. Any ideas?
