No, it's not a basketball hot bed, but usually has a team or two that make good state runs. but things change every 2 to 3 years and for the last 2 Richland had been one of the top programs in the state.
Beo has been making an impact in the state tourney for the last 2 years. The WA state tournament is usually decent litmus test.
