My point was that you never know what a conference or school will do until they are essentially forced to make a decision. BYU fans would've never believed in their worst nightmares that they would end up playing basketball in the WCC circa 2009. WCC fans can scoff all they want at GCU's current setup, but when you actually look at their facilities, support, market, etc. they would bring a ton to the conference.
