Compressed Blurays really don't look as good

as uncompressed. There are some movies (mainly older movies) where you can't tell the difference....but for new ones I can definitely tell a difference. Depending on quality of TV and size of tv it might not be noticeable for some people though.

Any old hard drive will work fine. No need for NAS unless you're not hooking it
