I apologize, I mis-read your post.
You stated:
"I love BYU, but if my kid gets a call from Coach K, I'm going to tell him to take that call."
I thought you said:
"I love BYU, but if my kid gets a call from Coach K, I'm going to tell him to take that offer."
I would most likely want my kid to discuss all options. I do think that BYU brings a lot to the table and I suspect that I would encourage my son to go to BYU after he has explored his options--The ultimate decision of course would need to be his.
