The last move they hired two guys, worked them 8 hours over two days and still needed additional help. Family of seven, they were well packed and ready to go, regular middle class---not expensive or excessive amounts of stuff. Granted, they were moving across town and part of that time was unloading. Still, point was they had a dozen friends and a couple paid laborers to get it done.
Moving stinks, big time. There's a reason companies paying for an employee's move shell out big bucks. Without a moving allowance, hiring enough laborers to do the job is beyond possible for many people---many GOOD people who legitimately need help.
However, I believe when people are in need they shouldn't feel entitled---the lady in the OP is crazy.
