We already trust politicians to engage in war - why not with nuclear weapons? I'm for the fastest, cheapest, least deadly wars possible - especially when they kill the least amount of Americans. Nuclear weapons can be a great tool for that. If we aren't fighting wars with those goals in mind, we shouldn't fight them at all.
