With the Hellcat coming out, they finally have an auto transmission worthy. I think they are waiting a bit to make sure the tranny holds up in the Challengers and chargers first. They may have to make a version specific to the viper too. Not sure but I bet they need a slightly different length.

They may throw in an auto tranny as a mild refresh along with bumper mods until the next version is available.
