Every coach I know of, that's known as a good HC, plays the QB who is the best able to get them the win that day.


Now, if you're talking mediocre vs mediocre, that's something different. But if one QB is verifiably better than the other and definitely gives you a better chance to win, I really don't know of any good HC's who wouldn't play the better QB.
