Since 1984:
-11 10 win seasons, 5 under LaVell, 1 with Crowton, and 5 with Bronco.
-13 seasons ending ranked in top 25, 7 Lavell, 1 Crowton, 5 Bronco
LaVell: 139-64-2 0.678
Crowton: 26-23 0.531
Bronco: 90-39 0.698
While I am not content with BYU's record over the past 5 seasons, when you look at BYU's trend since winning the National championship in 1984, Bronco has a slightly better winning percentage than LaVell and has a higher percentage of seasons being ranked at the end of the season.
The point I am trying to make is, BYU football is performing at roughly the same level as it did from 1985-2000 under LaVell and so blaming all the unhappiness of fans on Bronco is crazy. Are there reasons to be unhappy, sure, BYU has not gone to a BCX game while other teams have. BYU has lost 4 straight to Utah. With that said, I still think Broonco can do great things IF he retains control of the defense,
