My experience with people I know is they might have a really "good" month, but you can't keep selling to the same group of people and continue to make money at the same or better rate. Usually it drops off. Then you have to start beating the bushes for more friends or relatives to buy your stuff.

I can see essential oils doing well for a while, because enough people are true believers, but I have a hard time believing that people go through THAT much product in a month.
