If I were you, I'd go meet them and see how they feel about it. They could be a bunch of idiots. I would much rather work in a larger office than one in which I'm in a tiny shoe box with a bunch a couple of morons. That would feel claustrophobic. you really need to do more research on that situation. If they love the situation and the freedom being away from corporate and they are cool guys, that tells you a lot.
