I told them I thought the intake boot was torn. But I thought it was the other one... turned out to be the lower boot. I probably could have done it on my own but it might have been an all day project. I went ahead and had them replace a cracked A/C belt too. Parts weren't as bad as I had thought but labor killed me.

Maybe if I had the ability to do the smoke tests I'd have been more confident doing it on my own. Next time... It's a 14 year old ride so there will definitely be a next time.
