And I don't refute that they are the toughest conference in CFB.
But their conference perception is artificially boosted every year by teams playing 8 home games and playing very very few P5 opponents outside of their 8 conference games. And again, those P5 teams they do play generally have to play at the SEC's stadium. It's actually pretty amazing that BYU was able to secure the H/H against Miss. St.
In fact, a big reasons why I totally support the satellite recruiting camps that are cropping up everywhere is that they are really irking the SEC coaches who have a corner on recruiting kids from the South. Of course that can always backfire as the SEC eventually embraces the concept and starts setting them up everywhere with an even bigger budget than competing schools.
