I am new to the game and really starting to appreciate it but I have a couple of questions about the Cal game. I recorded it and have watched 3x now once live and twice recorded.

When BYU was in a scrum and had the ball it sure looked like they got the ball out a lot faster and more efficiently than Cal. Cal looked like it took longer.
1st question - Is that just a difference in offensive philosophy like a GFGH offense in football and Cal took longer akin to a football team going to a huddle? Or am I just clueless in my observation?

2nd question - If Paul had played would it have made a big difference?

I sure hope Bronco lets Manase play next year. Now that I am on the band wagon I want six in a row!
