I lived in Oklahoma for 3 years, Dallas another 3. They could split.
OSU fans would not think it would happen, but it could for sure. OU had better rivalries with Texas and NU than they had with OSU, and
that Bedlam game has only gotten decent the last 12 years or so.
No one thought Texas and Texas A&M would split either, until they did. I think people are overestimating the bond OU feels for OSU, If OU could jump to the SEC but had to leave OSU behind, they would if they thought it best for them long term.
Don't doubt that for a second.
