been on night and day. We have been trying to keep our house about 74 degrees. a few weeks back we would have ac on during the day, and open the windows at night to cool down, and let the ac rest. Last night I got home from work at it was 79 degrees at 6:30 pm. by 8:30 it was 81. I turned the AC off all night until 4 am. I opened the windows for a couple hours. Anyway,I left my house at 6:30 at it was 79 degrees. The ac unit is on and blowing air, but it is not cold.
This just started happening. Does anybody have any ideas on what things I can try? Here is what I have tried so far. I turned off the Unit. A few years back, I had Triple A heating and cooling come back and he turned off the unit and said it was frozen? after it defrosted for 30 minutes, he turned it on, and it was blowing cool air again. I have tried this.
Outside of this, I don't know what else I can do before I pay to have a heating and cooling guy come over.. Thoughts?
