because mediocre free agents are getting paid a ton of money right now. Lin would be a great fit for the Jazz, but i'm not sure I want to pay around 30 million dollars to be a 7 seed instead of an 8. Especially if it means less playing time for Exum. I would love another solid PG, but i don't see anyone out there that make this team significantly better for a reasonable amount of money.
