very low these days and that is something that universities have certainly gotten right though I'm sure it is not the greatest of news for professors. Anyway, despite these few things I'm a big believer in a college education, I got a BA in CS even while 80% of the programming work force I'm seeing now don't have degrees. However, that in and of itself signals a big issue with perception with some of the most brilliant kids we have that is going to be hard to overcome.
