Outside of a friend that was shot while serving in the armed forces, I don't personally know anyone that has been shot.

Instances of gun violence are exceptionally rare. It's reasonable to expect that a US citizen who keeps their nose clean, acts responsibly, obeys the law, and is not called into military service can go an entire lifetime without being shot.

Regardless, you're attempting to straw-man my argument. I'm simply saying that a lot of very unusual things have happened to Charles West, and each of these events hint at questionable character.
