That moves the conversation into weirdos who don't have any fun (drink etc.), wear magic underwear and practice polygamy. Many people outside of Utah still believe that. If the B12 required it's schools to provide birth control, and they were in talks with a Catholic school, they'd be very understanding that school couldn't participate for religious reasons. Mormonism hasn't reached that level of acceptance, not by a long shot.
