With my longer irons (5 - 7) I keep hitting my shots fat, and I can't fix it.
The thing that's driving me crazy is I know I've transferred my weight and rotated my hips when my club hits the turf. Everything I read says it happens because of lack of weight transfer, but I can put 100% of my weight on my left foot and still hit my club on the ground before the ball.

I've also heard about aiming at a spot a couple inches in front of the ball, but that just doesn't feel right. If you're playing a sport and hitting a ball, how can you do anything but aim at the ball?

Anyway, any help would be appreciated by both me and any golf course I play on.
