What about the distance in front of you?
Right now I just go with whatever feels most comfortable--but when I watch professionals they seem to stand right over the ball.
What is ideal?
FWIW, I can crush my driver..but I generally hit my irons a little short.
Any tips?

With my longer irons (5 - 7) I keep hitting my shots fat, and I can't fix it.

I had that same issue-for me it was just the evolution of being a weekend golfer

Are you moving the ball forward in your stance as the clubs get longer?

Try putting a rope or string about 5 - 7 inches behind the ball and avoid

You're likely not keeping your head level throughout your swing
