The thing is, many of us love BYU football AND big-time college football and we are concerned that those are two different things. I think BYU football is still "big-time" but it's on the margin and BYU's non-P5 status is potentially driving BYU further down the food chain.

looking at BYU's schedule this year makes me feel like we are still legitimate. But we have to win some big games and we have to get to a big bowl. Otherwise we are Navy of the west and I have to believe there are many Navy fans who secretly root for another team that is P5 simply because they know their team isn't there. I am fighting that right now.
