why 9ft rod? depending on where you are fishing you may want
a 7'6" 4wt. most streams in Utah even the Provo river the smaller rod is plenty. the only one river in Utah where you may want the 9ft rod is the Green River, or if you are doing alot of float tube lake fishing.
I havea both and I rarley use my big rod. I love to fish the small streams and you want the smaller rod.
