get a 9' 5wt and start there. If you decide you want more challenge added and putting more fight in the fish, get a shorter 3 or 4wt. You may find yourself enjoying the smaller streams more than you think at some point. Less crowd, more nature.

I've always been a fan of Redington. Go with aluminum.
