money and recruits are both debatable. What is the marginal benefit of more
To BYU? I don't know, but my sense is we have sufficient already, it would maybe help but not by much I believe.
Recruits, you can't quantify how many we've lost due to P5 status. You can make the case, but I firmly believe that if we had had a lot more success the last couple years it would have more than made up and then some the "p5 boost". If we were having a lot of success with our Indy schedule playing all over the country with great TV access and our Indy schedule I don't think we'd be talking about this.
Performance on the field and lack of nfl development have hurt us a lot more than not being in a p5 conference imo. You can disagree, but it is definitely debatable.
