Is the BIG 12 the way to go or is the PAC 12 a better answer?
I am probably in the minority on this, in fact I am sure that I am. However, I think the Big 12 is a conference waiting to implode. I would think BYU would be much smarter in reaching out again to the PAC 12 if they are not already in talks. I see this for the following advantages.
(1) We would regain that natural rival, in Utah
(2) Travel to road games would be much better attended than in the Big 12.
(3) Pac 12 offers more stability than the Big 12
(4) Even though we have been rebuffed in the past, the PAC 12 is looking reasonably at what the future holds and they know they have to get bigger to survive. I think they make a move before the Big 12 does.
