I'm beginning to think that if we were invited to the big 12 and we turned it down cause of a lack of instability, it was a good decision. That conference is hanging on by a thread. I don't see the big 12 lasting much longer and we'd be right back where we started had we joined. For now we have the ACC, SEC, and BIG 10 who consider us a P5 opponent. We don't seem to have a problem scheduling pac 12 opponents which tells me they too consider us a p5, just won't admit it. I think BYU can be very successful staying independent.
