Both are beautiful of course but the difference for me is that there is a bit more to do on Maui than Kauai. Kauai is great but doesn't have quite as much to do as Maui. Maui has more options for restaurants and golfing. Both have great sightseeing, snorkling, and beaches. Can't really go wrong with either though.
