An average D beats Memphis and Nevada, and probably holds the lead vs UCF
That's at least 3 more wins, making for an 11-2 season in a year where the starting QB for the majority of the games was a former walk-on who had to be coaxed into playing his senior season.
I'd wager an average D never lets a struggling USU into the game, which then would have made for a 12-1, top 15 maybe even top 10 season.
