Toyotas are great cars that stay on the road 10 years or longer with few problems. Why would having a fancy Toyota be a bad thing? I have a 2005 Lexus and love it. Sure, it's a fancy Toyota, but that means it's a luxury car with rock solid bones. I plan to keep it another 5 years and then buy another Lexus. I'd much rather drive that than some Cadillac which will look great the day you buy, and need to be junked in 5-7 years.
