but it certainly wasn't several years ago when I worked on cars. Back then you could get under a Toyota and a Lexus and you were looking at the same car. Same was try for Nissan/Infiniti and Honda/Acura. In the cabin there was more bling as a few more gizmos but at heart there wasn't much difference. I suspect it's still the same.
