With a protein supplement, I would think that works.
The protien-calorie ratio of plain milk doesn't seem great to me, though. I'm not trying to add mass, currently, so maybe I am not thinking about it enough.

I think the problem is more the added sugars and saturated fats.

Milk is a fine source of protein and fat... the sugar isn't optimal but not that
