All they are is series of fast cuts and split second shots meant to require little to no practice, choreography, training, or difficulty in camerawork. Yes, they may be intelligently designed by the fight choreographer, but where's the enjoyment or payoff when they are filmed and edited so mosaically? Worst of all is that we have the Bourne trilogy to blame for this sudden popularity in fight scene film style that's taking over action movies, allowing even 60 yr old Liam Neeson to look like Bruce Freaking Willis!
