It's not old fashioned. I'm not asking for a 5 minute single-take. And "art" is not studios finding ways to reduce budgets so they don't have to put the actors through weeks of training and choreography sessions with martial artists. If I'm old fashioned, why do I like the Marvel Cinematic Universe so much, or have Lord of the Rings in my top 20 all-time? I think fight scenes can be done better, that's all I'm saying.
