Week 5 - #8 BYU (4-0) vs UConn (1-3) – Fri Oct 2, 2015 – 7:15 pm EST – ESPN2

BYU is bruised and beaten, but literally on cloud 9. Most national pundits are declaring them a “shoe-in” for the CFP already. UConn gets screwed into a short week and a start time that is 10:30 EST. LES is packed to the brim and despite the late time, they are loud all night long. The Huskies, on the other hand, seem a bit sleepy.

Off a short week BYU looks a little sloppy and unfocused on offense, but the D plays inspired, hard-nosed football. BYU shuts out the Huskies, 30-0. Kaufusi gets a safety mid way through the 3rd quarter to make it 23-0 and BYU tacks on one more TD for good measure in the 4th. Mangum plays the entire 4th quarter and goes 4/4 with a pretty nifty completion to Colby Pearson that he nearly takes to the house.

Algie Brown goes beast mode and is unstoppable all night long.
