Week 6 - #6 BYU (5-0) vs ECU (2-3) – Saturday Oct 10, 2015 – 10:15 EST – ESPN2

This would have been a great game in 2014, but ECU lost their QB, Carden, and his replacement and a few key players and has struggled to put up enough points to win games. There only 2 wins are against Towson and a narrow win @ SMU. They actually played UF close in the Swamp but got blown out by Navy and VT the next two weeks. BYU’s offense has, generally, been quite good and this game makes them look invincible. First quarter is highlighted by a long, scramble TD throw to Kurtz, a TD run by Nate Carter, who absolutely trucked a guy and then stepped over him to get into endzone, and a textbook Taysom run right up the middle on a broken play for 44 yards and a TD.

Taysom later finds Kurtz, Mathews and Pearson for TD’s as well and BYU obliterates the pirates, 54-10, in their snazzy royal blue uniforms.
