Brandon Doman - 1280 Interviews
I really like Doman and was a fan of his when he got the O. Coordinator job at BYU.

However, I listen to him on 1280 and I get kind of frustrated. It's clear that he doesn't believe in Robert Anae and is skeptical about his treatment of Taysom. You could tell that all last year, too.

He talks about how he'd have killer plays on 3rd down or other circumstances. His comments really make me believe that he thinks Robert is just stupid or stubborn to put Taysom in successful circumstances. I don't know what Brandon's motivations are: clearly he wasn't hired back by Anae, maybe there are sour grapes.

Brandon talks a lot about what he would do...and it seemed like he had 2 years, one of those with a senior quarterback. And the results were disastrous. He talks about Utah being a better team than BYU. Didn't he have a hand in recruiting the players. Weren't his offensive staff responsible for securing and developing the talent?

No offense, but why should I listen to anything Brandon says other than being entertained.

I find him to be a nice guy and a great BYU QB. I just wish he would talk about why things don't work out as coaches design. What are the real factors that contribute to BYU's successes and challenges.

The hosts clearly don't have the guts to delve into the more interesting questions. I'm sure they could chase him off...but it would be much more compelling radio!
