I know his older brother, Bryce, and I think he is a good guy. I remember listening to Brandon being interviewed during his junior year. BYU had just won its game and only had Utah left to play in Lavell's career. The announcer asked him about the rivalry game coming up and he got this big smile on his face and he said something like "you bet--can't wait to face the running utes." He's a Salt Lake City kid, and gets the rivalry in ways those who haven't grown up with the game wouldn't understand. The way he answered the question showed excitement, enthusiasm and even a bit of respect. I've liked him since then.
