BYU is its own carrier...and carries internationally.
Things can always be better, but 4 of the first 7 practices of camp were open to the public and media and they have had media availability at least every third practice. Bronco is interviewed at nearly every one. He has coaches obligations with IMG Network that carries BYU games so he does that weekly show. But from a business standpoint, it is wise for BYU to walk that fine line between maintaining an advantage on content so you draw viewers and listeners to BYUtv and BYUradio and giving away so much content that there is no need to find channel 374 on your DirecTv dial.

Only 10 years ago I scratched for every tidbit I could find...now I couldn't keep up with all the available content and have a life.

The local media is jealous that BYU gets more access to BYU than they do. I understand that...but it's just common sense and smart business as to why. There is a daily and now two weekly shows about BYU football that are available on just about any device you have. That's amazing...and it has value...and they should be judicious with how they walk the fine line.
