a major part of being a head coach is promoting your program. BYU's popularity has been dwindling for years. we went from sellouts to seeing empty seats in the stadium. SLC used to be BYU country. it is not that way any longer. when i grew up there, you'd walk into a store like pro image or fanzz type store and you couldn't find utah gear. today you can hardly find BYU gear, and if you can, there is the same amount of USU gear. that's embarrassing.

BYU should be doing everything that they can do to promote the team and cultivate fans. that's not happening.
