1. BYU used to sell out games more in the past because people couldn't get every game on TV.

2. You only noticed BYU gear then because utah was so bad that none of their fans were proud enough of the program to wear their gear.

3. Same reason as #2 for utah st.

4. BYU is doing a lot of things to promote the program. You're just not paying attention.
