I think Monson's point is that BYU shouldn't air a player's dirty moral laundry (sex, drugs, etc.) and shouldn't necessarily even punish a player for those types of moral mistakes, but with respect to an on-field fight that was the focus of an entire evening of SportsCenter on national television, it should probably announce suspensions immediately. Am I missing something? I think I agree with him (but I'm not a BYU fan)
